I'm not a writer like Galen was. Few are. The man was a great influence on me though. This image is one of my earlier works on Velvia film which, in addition to the scenery, might draw comparisons to the look and feel of his later mountain imagery.

This image was made in Washington's Goat Rocks wilderness on the summit of Old Snowy peak.
