Just after I woke up in this most beautiful place, many miles into a remote region of Washington's North Cascades. I'd been dropped off by boat and backpacked for 8 days. It was such a wonderful experience. This is Whatcom peak with clouds streaking overhead, the result of a 40-second exposure and the direction of the clouds themselves.
