There's some really powerful lines in this that draw the eye very strongly up and into that line of trees. I do feel though after that it dose not seem to lead anywhere. It all seems to lead in a beautiful curve from the bottom up, from left to right and then back to the left curving upwards ... and then into the top of the frame ... what was above this?

what a place!! I see you have an eye for the right time of the day, this would not of worked any other time, and as well all know before sunset is the best time for long exposures, perfect example, cracking photograph!

Stunning shot. The arc of the canyon wall creates a great optical effect. Nicely done. :)
