I've noticed that nearly all of your photos have the same effect on the water. How do you do that? Is that because of long exposure or something more/else?

Yes, longer exposures blur water motion more. Longer exposures are often necessary when shooting in low light conditions such as a forest or at sunrise/sunset, and when using a small lens aperature for depth of field. This, of course, requires a tripod at all times.
