It is so difficult to photograph the Redwoods. So many complexities, chaos, details. You need very soft and angled light, continuity and most importantly, depth.

you definitely achieved depth. that is one of the things i've noticed is lacking in a lot of my photos. seeing images like this inspires me to keep trying.

Since you don't answere the comments people make to you I don't expect you read them, but anyway. I thank you very much for the advise. I have tried to capture the Redwoods many times and I'm never satisfied with the capture. I am going to watch your site in the hopes that I can learn something. You are a wonderful artist of photography! And I will pick your braine and talent in the hopes of becoming a better artist myself. Thank you for posting your work on DA.
