One of my all-time favorite pieces. Every time I look at it, I feel something different... a new emotion, a new inspiration, a new story that has never been told. This looks entirely unreal, which makes it all the more breathtaking realizing it is. Superb job capturing the color contrast, and the softness of the mist from the water. The reflection on the stone closest to you keeps the rock from seeming dull and detracting from the photo. The blending of the colors is perfect. Your formidable talent is well distinguished in this picture; these colors and this time in the evening only last for a few minutes, so there isn't much time for prep work. Original, enjoyable, and vivid. 5/5 stars. I only wish it was a larger photograph!

I half expect to see Rivendell far off in the depths of the valley. Such a beautiful mystical atmosphere.

When I look at this picture my eyes follows a stream of water which is reasonably in contrast to the background catches my eyes but the purpose of this stream is not to just to be admired but the purpose and a important one at that is to lead the viewer eyes back into the rest of the picture. The eyes now can be lead by the stream to admire the entire shot. Beautiful job.

I love all of the depth in this shot, it stuns me into silence! Great work...the levels that you catch here are gorgeous and the entire feeling is very humbling. You realize how small you are while you look at this shot.

I think this is one of my favourites. The scenery is darkened, but all the detail is still visible, and the peaks and troughs of the valley make excellent lead-in lines. The waterfall is beautifully captured; the tone of the water is lovely. A definite :+fav:

Thank-you for helping me to see Glacier Park through your eyes! I've lived here for years and tend to take it for granted. This photo stands out from all the postcard shots that I've seen on the internet. Our skies here have always been as dramatic as those in Arizona, but photographers never capture them like you have.
